Twice each year, Tea designers travel the world for inspiration. For Spring/Summer 2017 they traveled to Italy and brought back inspiration from modern art and design. Also we told the story of one co-founder's family adventure through italy and rome.

The typeface I created was a modified version of MTT Milano. I was inspired by Italian modernissimo (modern) art and design—the work of Giacomo Balla and the abstract shapes and graphic typography of the Futurism movement. I wanted to create a design direction that was bold and playful with a nod to the history of Italian design.
